The Canadian Professional Rodeo Association is a non-profit organization that functions as the official sanctioning authority for the sport of professional rodeo in Canada. Established in 1945, the CPRA's headquarters are located in Calgary, Alberta.
CPRA Sanctions Canada's Pro Rodeos
The CPRA sanctions all pro rodeos in the nation, and consists of about 1,600 members, which includes:
- Rodeo Athletes
- Stock Contractors
- Committees
- Contract Act Members.
The members are represented by a board of directors who with the help of the CPRA management and staff oversee the conduct of each rodeo.
